Appointments Cancellation and Reschedule by customers

Note: This feature is only included in Business and Business+ editions.

You can add the cancellation and reschedule link to the notification emails to your customers. The two tags are {cancel_url} and {reschedule_url}.

You can add these two tags to your email template.

Before adding the merge tags to your email template, you need create two pages with respective shortcode.

Go to pages, and add a new page, for instance, ‘Cancel Appointment’. Add the shortcode

The appointment doesn't exist or has been cancelled.

to the page and save.

Then add a new page, for instance, ‘Reschedule Appointment’. Add the shortcode

to that page and save.

Note: These two pages/links should hidden from your website menu. They are only used in email templates.

Go to Scheduler>Settings>Notifications, select the cancellation and reschedule pages.

You can also set the appointment cancellation and reschedule policies in Scheduler>Settings>General>Booking Preferences.

If your customer wants to cancel or reschedule the appointment, he or she can do so by clicking the respective links in received emails.
