    Hi there,

I am currently looking into BirchPress to see whether it is a useable solution for my client.

My client works with Outlook local versions and as far as I understand I can´t really sync into these calendars.

I wonder if that´s correct since it would basically rule out BirchPress as an option. If that´s the case I wonder if there is an workaround.

I thought about creating Outlook.com accounts for all users and then mirror the local calendar into the outlook.com version. If you have any other idea (or even better: a solution to directly sync with local Outlook installations), let me know!

    Kind regards

Unfortunately creating outlook.com accounts is the only option.

Hey Jennifer, thanks for the swift response! I could create outlook.com accounts for all clients, but as far as I see they would not only have to do that, but also exclusively use the outlook.com Cale dar which is simply not going to happen.

Is there no workaround? I was thinking about a macro that would automatically block timeslots in the outlook.com calendar whenever an appointment is made on the local Outlook installation. Is there something like this floating around?

What would be my alternatives? No Birchpress?

Check the example 3.1 and 3.2 in this document. It explains how it works.

Thanks, I read these already, but it states

Please add all personal events to this outlook.com calendar so that they can be synced to scheduler to block those busy times. Events added to your local Outlook calendar will not be synced to scheduler.

That means user would have to use this calendar to get timeslots blocked. Then unfortunately it is not an option 🙁

    Hi all,
    Hi Jennifer,

Allowing myself to use this thread to add my question about the outlook sync :

If i set up my iCal sync using outlook.com (3.2), is this sync automatic and 2-ways sync ?

    Thanks
    Clement

    Hi Clement,

To make it two way sync, you also need follow example 3.1.
