I have logged into the demo but I’m not clear if this will fit for what we want to do.
We are using WordPress to sell classes. We have 5 locations that someone could choose from to take a particular class. Each location has a unique time that the class available and also has a limited number of opening for each class.
If someone purchases a class (the class product is already set up in WooCommerce), they choose which location as an option in the WooCommerce setup for the product. Based on which location they choose, after checkout, we’d want them to schedule a time to attend the class at the location they chose.
My question is, should the location option on the WooCommerce product be removed and Birchpress will somehow handle the locations? So a simple product would indicate in the product description what locations a class is available in…then after purchase would be taken to a Birchpress page that knows they purchased a product that needs to be scheduled at one of the locations that the class if offered at. Then the purchaser selects the location they want to take the class at and then sees on a calendar all of the times that are available to take the class at the selected location. Is this how it works?
Or does the plugin have the purchaser choose an appointment time and location before checkout, when viewing the product for example?
Also, we don’t need the Services or Staff drop downs…can those be removed?
Thanks,
