Group Sizes in Birchpress?

There is one more issue that is keeping us from taking the jump to Pro. We need to figure out a way to control group size if possible. We offer tours for school groups and would like to allow multiple “groups” to reserve a spot if they are small enough. Is this possible in the Pro version?

Even if we were able to “unbook” the booking in the backend if the group that booked it is too small, but still retain the first booking for our scheduling.

I would also like to verify the ability to only allow scheduling in 1 month for the Pro version. We only provide tours during 1 month out of the year and I would hate to confuse the end user by making them manually navigate to the only month that we are open.

Hi Drew,

Allow multiple “groups” to reserve a spot is not supported out of the box. How often do you accept multiple groups? If that does not happen a lot, there might be a workaround. You can create another duplicated staff member. When your client books an appointment and you think it is small enough to accept another group on the booked time spot, you can manually reassign the appointment to the duplicated staff member, which will make the default staff member available again.

If you want to show the only month in the front end calendar directly, you need change value of a date variable in the code, which is not hard.
