Hi,
I have been searching through the forum to see if times can be blocked off by location rather than staff. I came across this topic https://www.birchpress.com/forums/topic/pre-purchase
This would work functionally but staff may not necessarily be available during a full set of business hours, so would also need a way for staff to set their availability.
Is this possible? If not, is there an easy modification that can do this?
This is a pre-purchase question.

Hi Asim,
When you set up staff working hours, you need set up his working hours on each location. You can add exceptions to staff member’s working hours on each location.

Thank you for your reply. However, it doesn’t quite answer my question because, it is not possible if staff are not set as staff as in the link I mentioned previously.
To give a better idea as to what we are after; imagine the rooms mentioned in the previous link to be single user devices.
The device can be used by one client at a time. A client can use it on their own, or with a therapist. Now, the device is available for full set of business hours, therefore is available for self-use for that period. Therapists are not always available as their hours are shorter (but within the business hours).
If I have a setup where the services are the type of use i.e. self, with therapist, etc. and set therapists as staff, then there is potential for the devices to be double booked if one client books a self-use and another books with a therapist of their choice for the same time.
As I said in my initial message, setting the devices as staff could potentially work if the therapists were available for the full set of business hours.
Does this make sense?
Thanks for your clarification. I am afraid that you were right. There is no way to set the working hours by location.
