I am having a real issue with the inability to set an appointment status that actually does something. I have attempted to create a separate form field to list the appointment statuses that we would like to choose from, but the problem really comes in when an appointment is cancelled. When either the user clicks their link, or a staff member chooses the delete button during edit, it is completely deleted from the calendar and database, rather than simply flagged as inactive or removed from the calendar, but not deleted from the database.

Is there any way, and I assume the answer is going to be no, in which I can change the only two options from Save and Delete to include either a marker that replaces the deletion key with something else that doesn’t eliminate it from the calendar but still allows a new booking (not just from backend, but also from user cancellation link), or simply removes it from the calendar but maintains it in the database?

I do hope this makes sense. I have to admit that I love the plug-in, but not being able to track history or update the status of appointments is really killing things. When I chose to purchase I was unaware just how significant these would become…obviously I do not blame you, but I am now rethinking my purchase just so I can get that functionality. I do hope that an update that addresses these issues is really getting close – I hate to think I have to reinvest in another product or pay a monthly fee simply to get historical information.

    Hi Joseph,

What we can do is: in our next major release, when a client cancel an appointment or the administrator deletes an appointment in Admin, we will removes it from the calendar but maintains it in the database by updating the status tobe cancelled.
